AUGUST AND EVERYTHING AFTER

Progressive Field
Cleveland, OH

ROLL CALL OF CHAMPIONS

John Capone
American Heavyweight Champion

Danteourage (Dante Monaco & Dorian Morcello)
American Tag Team Champions

Sarahcuda
American Female Champion

Fireworks went off and a capacity stadium crowd was popping as "Hand Of Blood" by Bullet For My Valentine played over the loudspeakers and the show began.

[Voiceover] "We are live at the biggest show in ACE Wrestling history, August And Everything After, live at Progressive Field in downtown Cleveland. Tonight, scores will be settled and fans will witness more action than any Indians game ever. Tribe designated hitter Travis Hafner is in attendance! We go now to the opening contest..."

Before the first match, Hair Metal (Christian Melrose & Irwin Steele) played an impromptu concert with some friends inside the ring. The crowd of 60,000+ was rocking out when the Danteourage (Green Lantern Fan & David Scarth) interrupted and began the match.

Hair Metal (Christian Melrose & Irwin Steele) vs. Danteourage (Green Lantern Fan & David Scarth)
Time Limit: 10:00 • Referee: Jason Charles

GLF and Scarth caught Melrose and Steele by surprise but quickly found themselves on the receiving end. Scarth succumbed to Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow in under a minute to close out the first contest.

RESULT: Hair Metal def. Danteourage (0:53)

The crowd roared and Hair Metal continued their concert while GLF and Scarth licked their wounds.

Backstage (aka the clubhouse), Mike Harvey was interviewed by Carrie Lopez.

[LOPEZ] "Mike, tonight you finally get your rematch for the American Heavyweight Championship against John Capone. You will have Doug Harvey at ringside with you, is he enough to counter Steve Bootman at ringside with the champion?"

[HARVEY] "Carrie, I wish I could say we will not have to worry about anyone at ringside but with John Capone involved...you know something is gonna go down. To answer your question, Doug Harvey can stand up to the biggest and baddest."

[LOPEZ] "Are you going to try and wear down Capone or attack him early and try to win the bet quickly?"

[HARVEY] "I plan on finishing the job before Johnny Capone knows what hit him." (looking into the camera) "I had a dream last night that I was in the crowd here at Jacobs Field watching the main event. Capone was in one corner, me in the other. I woke up before the match finished but I don't need a dream to tell me who is walking out of Cleveland with the title tonight. You're looking at him."

Harvey walked off.

Sandy Horseshoe Will Shack Up With The Winner
Bucky Talbot vs. Trick
Time Limit: 10:00 • Referee: Justin Ball

Sandy Horseshoe sat at ringside but did not join Talbot nor Trick in coming down the aisle. Talbot was more focused on winning the match but Trick was too caught up in trying to impress Horseshoe. At 2:32, Talbot went for a flying bodypress but Trick moved at the right time and Bucky went face-first into the mat. Trick used this as an opportunity to call Sandy up to the ring. She stood on the ring apron and smiled at him, letting Bucky get to his feet. Just as Trick went in for a kiss, Sandy backed off the ring apron. Talbot tapped Trick on the shoulder, prompting him to turn around and meet Bucky's Ball Buster right in the pit of the groin. The crowd roared. Unfortunately, this resulted in a disqualification.

RESULT: Trick def. Bucky Talbot (3:12, DQ)

The crowd booed the referee's decision. Trick grimaced as his hand was raised. Sandy grabbed a microphone and stepped into the ring.

[HORSESHOE] "Trick, you may've won this here match but you are still a loser!" (crowd cheers) "I'm shackin' up with my Bucky and we're gonna go home and make sweet loooove!"

The crowd roared as Trick started shouting at Horseshoe and acted as if he was going to hit her before Talbot delivered another Ball Buster kick to the groin and sent Trick down and out. The crowd cheered as Bucky and Sandy made out in the ring.

Backstage, the Danteourage (Dante Monaco, Dorian Morcello, Green Lantern Fan & David Scarth) were caught in an argument of some sort. Monaco stepped away to speak on his cell phone. When the camera got closer to the group, they all went behind a closed door.

A promo video aired for Euphoria, a new female wrestler debuting Wednesday on Ace Across America.

American Tag Team Championship Match
(C) Danteourage (Dante Monaco & Dorian Morcello) w/Green Lantern Fan & David Scarth vs. Jersey Assassins (#1 & #2) w/The Iron Maiden
Time Limit: 15:00 • Referee: Jason Charles

Danteourage came out first and were booed profusely by the fans on the field and in the stands. When the Assassins came out, they stormed the ring and took on all four members of the Danteourage before referee Charles got it straightened out. The fans roared. The Assassins had the match in control for the first five minutes, mostly taking turns on Morcello. At one point, they let Morcello tag in Monaco but he wanted no part of it. JA #2 brought Monaco in anyway and received the same treatment. Due to some distractions later on by GLF and Scarth, the champions caught a break and were able to take #1 to the mat. Over the next few moments, they subdued the masked man and kept him in their corner. At one point, he overpowered Morcello and stumbled across the ring to make a hot tag to #2 but GLF distracted referee Charles and the tag did not count. The fans booed profusely. Later, Monaco got a little cocky and attempted to lift #1 up for The Inferno but #1 blocked it and collapsed onto Monaco. The crowd rose to their feet and #1 was able to finally make a hot tag to #2, who drilled Monaco with a flurry of fists and kicks. Morcello illegally entered the match and was met with a clothesline from #2 that knocked him through the ropes and out of the ring. #2 dragged Monaco to the center of the ring and were prepared to set up their Welcome To The Garden State, Mother Fucker finisher but Morcello was able to pull Monaco out of the ring and to safety. At this point, GLF and Scarth gave some sort of hand gesture to Iron Maiden outside of the ring. GLF followed by hopping up on the ring apron and distracting referee Charles. Maiden hopped up on the ring apron on the opposite side and called #1 and #2 to her. Behind #2, Monaco and Morcello prepared for some kind of maneuver but were waiting for Maiden to do something. The crowd rose to its feet. Maiden pulled what was apparently a can of mace out of her breast area and winked at #1 and #2, who both ducked and allowed Maiden to spray the mace in the eyes of Morcello and Monaco. The crowd roared. #1 tossed Morcello out of the ring and Monaco fell victim to WTTGSMF just as referee Charles started paying attention again. #2 covered Monaco for the win and the biggest pop of the night thus far.

RESULT: Jersey Assassins def. Danteourage (7:02)

The Assassins and Maiden celebrated in the center of the ring. GLF and Scarth came in and were tossed out by the new champions.

Backstage, American Female Champion Sarahcuda was in her prison chains while her tag team partner for the night, Mother Mary, attempted to discuss strategy with her.

[SARAHCUDA] "STOP!"

[MARY] (shocked) "Pardon?"

[SARAHCUDA] "Stop running your goddamn mouth. All we need to do is destroy the enemies, tonight! SIMPLE! DESTROY!"

Sarahcuda started shaking insanely, freaking out her tag team partner.

Mr. Canada vs. Dios
Time Limit: 10:00 • Referee: Justin Ball

The fans were clearly behind Dios in this one and it seemed to fuel him early on, wearing out Canada with high-flying and fast-paced moves. Early on, Canada tried to take a rest outside of the ring but Dios springboarded off the top rope and smothered Canada with a corkscrew press that sent them both into the guard rail. It prompted the first "DI-OS! DI-OS!" chant of the evening. When both returned to the ring, Dios was still in control but tried one high spot too many. With Canada wobbly and standing in the center of the ring, Dios went for a missile dropkick but Canada moved away and Dios landed awkwardly on the canvas, injuring his left leg. Canada proceeded to work over said leg for the next few moments, keeping Dios grounded. The fans seemed to feel Dios' pain but willed him on anyway. Canada attempted to pin Dios several times but the Peruvian kicked out each time. After a series of chops to the chest of Dios, Canada threw him in the north corner of the ring. Canada went to the opposite side and came running toward Dios but in an amazing use of speed, Dios turned around and hopped onto the top rope and attempted to hit the Oh Dios Mio! finisher but Canada caught him trying to do the hurricanrana part of the move and power bombed him to the mat. The crowd "ooohed" and then "awwwed" as Dios was crushed into the canvas. Canada followed with the Maple Leaf Blower for the win.

RESULT: Mr. Canada def. Dios (6:53)

After the match, Canada celebrated way too much and the crowd booed him. He started to help Dios to his feet in a seemingly moment of good grace but ended up kicking his bad leg out from under him and laughing it off. He pulled a Canadian flag out from under the ring and ran all over Progressive Field with it. In the second row of the field seats, he shoved it in the face of Cleveland Indians DH Travis Hafner, who ripped the flag away from Canada and wiped his ass with it. Canada shoved Hafner and Hafner shoved Canada to the ground. ACE officials and security stopped anything further.

Backstage, Natasha Malone and Karra LaRue were chatting with Hair Metal (Irwin Steele & Christian Melrose) in one area while Carrie Lopez talked to American Heavyweight Champion John Capone (with Steve Bootman by his side) in another area.

[LOPEZ] "John Capone, tonight is the night. What will you do to keep that title around your waist?"

[CAPONE] (looking into the camera) "Carrie, I am the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. I was the first champion and I will be the last. The only way Mike Harvey will take this title from me is if he literally killed me. Even then, he would still have to get past Steve Bootman."

[LOPEZ] "Some might feel you constantly underestimate Mike Harvey..."

[CAPONE] "Some might feel a lot of things but Mike Harvey is going to feel the wrath of the Whiplash, tonight!"

Capone held the title up in front of the camera and walked off with Bootman.

Elimination Tag Team Match
Sarahcuda & Mother Mary vs. Natasha Malone & Karra LaRue vs. Lindsey Fontaine & Valerie
Time Limit: 10:00 • Referee: Justin Ball

Valerie and Sarahcuda started the match but while Valerie was talking strategy with Fontaine, Sarah hit her with the Trust Buster and got the pin in under 10 seconds for the first elimination. The crowd was stunned. In disgust, Fontaine walked off without assisting her partner. Sarah tossed Valerie out of the ring and Malone came in and belted the champion with a clothesline that sent her staggering back into the corner. The crowd cheered as Malone dropkicked Sarahcuda while she was in the corner. Caught up in the adrenaline, Malone went for the Natty By Nature too early and Sarah caught her and flung her across the ring. Sarah tagged in Mary and the nun went flying across the ring and lit up Malone. Malone ended up fighting her off and tagging in LaRue but Mary was able to trip up LaRue and tag in Sarahcuda. Sarah and Mary worked over LaRue for the next few minutes until LaRue moved out of the way of a Trust Buster and hot tagged Malone to the delight of Cleveland fans. Malone took down Sarah with a Thesz Press and bashed her face a bit. Mary interfered but Malone shoved her and took her down with a DDT. The slight delay gave Sarah a chance to lock a sleeperhold on Malone but miraculously, Malone hoisted Sarah on her back and flipped her across the ring. The crowd rose to their feet as Malone hopped up to the top rope (with LaRue chasing Mary away in the background) and springboarded off for the Natty By Nature hard into the face of Sarahcuda, who was knocked out by the move. Malone covered for the win and the crowd roared.

RESULT: Natasha Malone & Karra LaRue def. Sarahcuda & Mother Mary (5:59), Lindsey Fontaine & Valerie (0:09)

The winning team dove into the crowd and celebrated the victory.

Backstage, the Danteourage were caught throwing things around and arguing with one another before Commissioner Andrew Bootman and ACE officials booted them out of the building.

American Heavyweight Championship Match
(C) John Capone w/Steve Bootman vs. Mike Harvey w/Doug Harvey
Time Limit: 20:00 • Referee: Jason Charles

Capone used an extended entrance theme remix, waiting nearly a minute before coming out. The match started off slowly, with Capone repeatedly leaving the ring and trying to psych out the challenger. On the last exit of the ring, Capone randomly shoved Doug which prompted him to try and take a swing at the champion. This forced referee Charles to throw Doug out and make him leave ringside. The crowd booed, Mike argued and Capone high-fived Bootman. Capone took advantage of Mike's pissed-off state and sucker punched him before working over his arms and legs, in hopes of avoiding the Southern Justice. Capone used every short cut imaginable to keep Mike from any offense. Later on, Capone threw Harvey into the ropes and thought he would catch him off guard with the Whiplash but Harvey ducked and came back off the opposite ropes with a flying forearm. The crowd roared and began to rise, appropriately sensing a changing of control. Harvey followed with a power bomb and went for a cover but Capone kicked out. Harvey followed by attempting to lock in the Southern Justice but Steve Bootman jumped up onto the ring apron which prompted the challenger to stop what he was doing (knowing that a disqualification would result in him not being able to win the title) and superkicked Bootman off the apron. The crowd popped huge. When Harvey went back to try to re-apply the Southern Justice (with referee Charles still looking toward a flailing Bootman), Capone threw powder in the eyes of Harvey. The crowd booed heavily. The challenger went blind immediately and fell victim to the Whiplash. Capone covered as Charles returned focus to the match and counted the 1-2-3.

RESULT: John Capone def. Mike Harvey (9:14)

Capone and Bootman celebrated as the ringside fans pelted the ring with garbage. Commissioner Andrew Bootman came out as Capone and Steve headed back toward the locker room. Andrew stared down the champion and his father. Capone held up the title in the Commissioner's face and walked to the back, still having trash thrown at him.
